It has been a popular call-to-action (CTA) for a while, and an effective way to urge readers to go to the link in your bio for additional information or to take action after reading the caption. For short-term rental properties, having a link in bio, whether it is to Airbnb, VRBO, or your direct booking website, is critical to convert scrollers into guests. It is your opportunity to show your property. While Instagram provides a field for your link, there are some difficulties when there are multiple links to add, if you have multiple listings, or sites. There are a few solutions, like, to add multiple links to a “father” link that goes in your bio, but these offer limited features to STRs and hospitality businesses.

  • Review your insights and check for the External link taps metric. (Note: You can find it under Accounts reached, all the way down) If taps are low, add a call to action in your caption and stories.
